When he decides to, which is rare these days, Ben has his own way (and doesn't he always) of going down a slide. After a typical 15-minute session on the swing, he took my hand and said, in Ben-speak, "Down the slide wheeeee!" It's a ten-minute process that ends with him either coming happily back down the ladder, or slowly, and even more happily, sliding. Unlike typical kids, who go up and down, over and over, with Ben, it's always "one and done," either way. This is what he decided today, September 18, 2010.
